Our First Picture Together! We first connected in November of 2022, not knowing that a simple conversation would change our lives. After a few months of talking, we finally met in person -- and it truly felt like love at first sight. In the same month that we met, Danny had lost his mom, and in many ways, our meeting felt like God's timing; a bit of light in the midst of loss, a grace that brought healing and hope. Emily knew Danny was someone special when he showed up to the first date with flowers -- something she had always dreamed of but never received before. From that moment on, we both could feel that this was something truly meant to be.

The Day We Became Official! One of the sweetest moments in our story was the night Danny Asked Emily to make it official and be his girlfriend. We were sitting together on the couch, and he was introducing her to country music, playing some of his favorite songs. As he sang along, he played "Forever and Ever, Amen" by Randy Travis -- a song that instantly felt special. There was something about that moment, the warmth, the laughter and the way he sang those words, that made everything feel right. That night, when he asked Emily to be his girlfriend, it was and easy "yes". From then on, "Forever and Ever, Amen" became our song--our little anthem that still brings us back to where it all began.

Forever Wedding Date! Our first date as a couple was at the wedding of one of Danny's childhood friends, Bobby, where Danny was a groomsman. It was such a special night -- not just because it was our first big moment together, but because Emily was able to see how deeply Danny loves his friends and how deeply he is loved in return. It was also the first time Emily got to meet his amazing sister, Keri, whose warmth and kindness instantly made her feel like part of the family. Throughout the evening, so many people came up to Emily to share hoe much Danny meant to them and how happy they were to see him so content. Watching him surrounded by lifelong friends, radiating kindness and joy, it was clear to Emily that this was the man she was meant to spend her life with.

We Love The Diner! Our first date was at a little diner. Since then, we've gone back to the same diner many times. It became our spot! On one visit, we still laugh remembering how the server accidentally brought us orange juice instead of coffee. This was a photo from that day.

Our Engagement Day! One of the best days of our lives. Dan and Emily had gone up to Portland, Maine to visit Emily's sister, Liz and her husband, Sam. Emily had no idea what was in store. That morning, Danny took Emily to Kettle Cove in Crescent Beach State Park, where he got down on one knee and proposed to her. It was such a beautiful, peaceful spot -- the ocean, the early light, and the moment itself felt absolutely perfect. Afterward, we celebrated with Liz and Sam at their home. We then took photos together at the Portland Head Light lighthouse and a nearby apple orchard. It was such a joyful, love-filled day -- one that we will both cherish forever.

Lucy!! The day we picked up our puppy Lucy is one we'll never forget. She's a tiny miniature dachshund adopted from Texas, and we could hardly contain our excitement as we drove to LaGuardia Airport to finally meet her. The moment we saw her, we instantly knew she was meant to be ours. From that day on, Lucy has completely changed our lived in the most beautiful way. She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our home, and every tail wag or cuddle reminds us how incredibly lucky we are to have her.

Going back to Maine with our new puppy felt like coming full circle. This time, we had Lucy trotting alongside us, her little tail wagging as we showed her the place where our story took such a beautiful turn. We retraced our steps with Liz and Sam, laughing about that perfect day when Danny got down on one knee. The ocean breeze was the same, the view was just as breathtaking... but somehow, it all felt even more special with Lucy there, making new memories in the place where one of our favorite chapters began.
